Community Housing Development Corporation is a HUD-certified housing counseling agency that since 2004 has provided three AFI grants with the objective of providing pre- and post-homeownership counseling and training to ensure that homebuyers are prepared for the responsibilities of homeownership and are successful at maintaining and protecting their assets for years to come.

Grantee Community Housing Development Corporation partners with Employment and Human Services Department, West Contra Costa Business Development Center, Brighter Beginnings, The Stride Center, Anew America, Rubicon Programs, and Opportunity Junction to provide financial education, business counseling, microenterprise development, skills training, case management, and outreach.
