Co-Opportunity, Inc. is a nonprofit housing counseling agency with the objective of providing asset building, financial education and counseling, and workforce development.

Co-Opportunity, Inc. emphasizes homeownership, postsecondary education, and business capitalization with the goals of increasing homeownership in Hartford and raising the level of financial literacy. Co-Opportunity, Inc. has been successful in fostering community economic development initiatives and providing housing counseling.

Co-Opportunity, Inc. partners with Mutual Housing Association of Greater Hartford, Inc., Urban League of Greater Hartford, Village for Families and Children, Inc., Hartford Community Loan Fund, Hartford Economic Development Corporation, The Spanish American Merchants Association, Inc., Capital Region Education Council, United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut, City of Hartford Neighborhood Stabilization Programs, Habitat for Humanity, City of Hartford’s House Hartford program, Loaves and Fishes, University of Hartford, and the Capital and Manchester Community Colleges to provide outreach, financial education, housing services, and technical assistance.
