Southern Bancorp Community Partners

Southern Good Faith Fund is a nonprofit that since 2000 has provided five AFI grants whose objective has been responding to the needs of low-income individuals and families to promote economic security through a varied and evolving mix of program offerings.

Southern Good Faith Fund emphasizes homeownership, postsecondary education, and business capitalization with the goal of efficiently and effectively serving low-income individuals and families in southern and eastern Arkansas and western Mississippi. Southern Good Faith Fund has been successful in recruiting participants, developing partnerships, and providing financial education.

Partners

Southern Good Faith Fund partners with Southern Bancorp; Small Business Development Centers; the Arkansas Career Pathways Initiative; the Arkansas Department of Human Services; the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Center; Boys, Girls, Adults CDC; Coahoma Community College; The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis; Mississippi Department of Human Services; Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas; U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development; and U.S. Small Business Administration to provide training, assistance with outreach, and meeting space.
