California  State University, Fullerton is a nonprofit with the objective of promoting financial literacy in grades K-12 and the community.

California State University, Fullerton emphasizes postsecondary education with the goal of empowering students of Valadez Middle School to be the first ones in their families to attend college, increase their human capital, and stay on a sustained path of higher lifetime earnings. California State University, Fullerton has been successful in establishing partnerships to increase the educational attainment of low-income, ethnic minorities.

California State University, Fullerton partners with the Placentia Yorba Linda School District, the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics, and the Philanthropic Foundation at California State University at Fullerton to provide credit counseling, family business counseling, and small business development.
