Applicants may submit materials at any time throughout the year. OCS will review and fund new grants in two cycles in calendar year 2013. The application receipt dates are as follows.
Spring Cycle -- March 25, 2013
The application must be submitted to grants.gov no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on the receipt date. Note: Transmission may be slow the day of the application deadline, so applicants are encouraged to submit their application packages at least 24 hours in advance of the cut-off.

Register for a Current Contractor Registration Number (New Requirement for 2011)
All AFI applicants and grantees must have a current Central Contractor Registration (CCR) number. CCR registration must be updated annually and must be active and maintained with current information at all times during which an organization has an active AFI award or an AFI application under consideration. This requirement applies to current grantees, subgrantees, and applicants.
CCR registration may be made online at: www.ccr.gov or by phone at: 1-866-606-8220. Due to heavy traffic at the CCR website at application due dates, applicant grantees and subgrantees are encouraged to register at the CCR well in advance of the application due date.
