AFI Grantee, EARN, Uses YouTube to Share Its Work

EARN, an AFI grantee in San Francisco, is making use of the popular website YouTube to highlight the impact of their asset-building work. Success stories, like that of EARN client Jamie Moore, are shared through short videos.

With EARN’s help, Jamie was able to save enough to buy a home of her own. On the YouTube video posted on EARN’s website, as she walks through her new house, Jamie shares her excitement about owning her own home.

EARN’s use of YouTube is illustrative of an innovative use of new, popular, and easy to use technologies that allow organizations to achieve a greater impact. Leveraging popular, and often free, websites is a great way to share your organization’s story and recruit participants, funders, and other partners.

To learn more about what EARN is doing with YouTube, check out their website or YouTube channel.
