EITCplatform.org - Resources to Help Tax Prep Services

With the goal of raising the quality, efficiency, capacity, scale, and impact of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and tax preparation programs, EITCplatform.org provides free resources for organizations that provide tax preparation services for low-income people. The Web site offers practical, high-quality tools, training, group buying discounts, and other resources to community-based programs and coalitions nationwide.

On the Web site you will find resources to better serve tax preparers, such as group buying discounts and tools for site operations, volunteer management, and data collection, and tips on marketing financial products. You can also access training for staff and volunteers. For example, the free online Quality Reviewer training meets Internal Revenue Service requirements for quality review at Volunteer Income Tax Assistance sites. The Web site can also help tax filers improve their financial security, with information on savings bonds, prepaid debit cards, and more.

EITCplatform.org is a project of the Aspen Institute, with support from the Annie E. Casey Foundation and in partnership with the National Community Tax Coalition.
